My name is Drew Gay.  I grew up in a small town in Central Illinois.  After graduating from college in 2013, I moved to Naples to begin a new chapter in my life.  Growing up, I always had two major passions: baseball and cars.  I began playing baseball around the age of 4.  After progressing my way through the numerous leagues, teams and different levels of the game, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play in high school, college as well as professionally.  I spent 3 years playing college baseball at Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois.  There, I had an amazing overall experience, earned my Bachelors Degree, as well as  having some of the best seasons of my career.  After my senior season, I signed my first professional contract with the St. Paul Saints, based out of Minnesota.  I spent over two and a half seasons with the Saints, before being traded to the Kansas City T-Bones with a month left of the 2015 season.  Being able to play professionally and accomplishing a childhood dream, was hands down one of the best feelings I have ever felt.  On to my other passion...cars.  Ever since I had the understanding of what cars were, my passion for them began to grow.  Growing up, I developed an obsession for keeping things extremely clean.  When I was able to drive, my cars were always spotless, that meant cleaning them inside and out 3 or more times a week.  While taking care of my own vehicles, it slowly grew into detailing my parents cars as well as friends and other family members as well.  While having an obsession of keeping things extremely clean and paying strong attention to detail that required all of my possesions to be organized, neat and clean, especially my cars...gave me the the idea to put it all together and start my own detailing business.  This idea turned into a vision about 5 years ago, but the time and opportunity to turn it into a reality never presented itself.  Although that did not stop me.  I immediately began researching new and improved techniques and products to better myself and my knowledge of detailing.  Over the past few seasons, I utilized the countless bus rides and nights in hotels constructing a business plan as well as piecing together all other aspects of the business.  I recently retired from the game that changed my life, taught me to be the man I am today and one of my true loves.  But as they say, when one door closes, another door opens.  That door being the opportunity to turn the vision of opening my detailing business, into a reality.  I can proudly say that I have accomplished another goal in my life and excited to be doing something else I thoroughly enjoy and love doing...detailing.  I look forward to growing this business and building great relationships with all of my future customers!
